Named for the elephant head emblem over the main entrance, is a former bottle store for the Camden Brewery and a landmark listed building noted for its well-crafted facades in Camden.
The Thornton Partnership undertook a comprehensive and sensitive refurbishment together with cosmetic external restoration. Works included cutting out internal floor areas and installing a new structural steelwork frame to form a void for a new steel staircase from the lower ground floor to the second floor.

A full mechanical and electrical infrastructure was installed to the building, as was a new lift. Restoration works were carried out on the exposed roof trusses and timber flooring to maintain the structure’s character.
