A rolling refurbishment of 250,000 sq ft iconic warehouse office building in the heart of Shoreditch. The works include a ground breaking heating and cooling servicing infrastructure.
The Tea Building is a multi-faceted and unique building which has over a number of years undergone an internal transformation from a worn down former warehouse to vibrant and sought after space home to an eclectic collection of companies such as marketing agencies, media companies architects, restaurants and of course; The Thornton Partnership ourselves.

The Thornton Partnership has played an integral part in this transformative process, having carried out landlord works and numerous tenant works since its inception in 2004. Works have ranged from structural alterations to new mechanical and electrical infrastructure, from new lifts to strip outs, from fit outs to sustainable environmentally conscious ‘Green Tea’ works.
With a special insight into working in buildings where offices are partly occupied, The Thornton Partnership has provided a platform for the design team and client to resolve critical path elements.
